FAQ
Setup time, signal loss, data storage and GDPR, in plain terms.
Setup
Most operators finish in an afternoon: create the depot, add vehicles, import drops, and hand drivers the app. There is no server to install and no implementation project to schedule.
Drivers install the app from the app store and sign in with a four-digit PIN. The route, the next drop and the proof steps are on one screen. Most are working within ten minutes.
Type them in, import a spreadsheet, or connect your online shop. Shopify orders sync automatically as they are placed, including delivery notes and time windows.
On the road
The app keeps working. Routes are downloaded before departure, and proof of delivery is stored on the device with its original timestamp and location. Everything syncs the moment coverage returns.
No. Photo, signature, time and location are locked once recorded. Only an account owner can annotate a record, and the annotation is kept separately from the original.
Yes. Zone boundaries and charges are part of the routing model, so a route that looks shorter but crosses a charged zone is costed honestly against one that goes around it.
Data and security
In encrypted cloud storage in the region you select at signup, with Singapore and the EU available today. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and backed up daily.
WideVan acts as a data processor for the personal data you collect about your customers and drivers. We provide a data processing agreement, support access and deletion requests, and keep processing in your chosen region. See the privacy policy for detail.
Anyone you invite as a dispatcher or owner. Drivers see only their own route. Customers see a single proof link for their drop and nothing else.
Yes. Drops, routes, proof records and stock movements export to CSV from the settings page at any time, on every plan.
Live today
No installation. No implementation project. Fourteen days free on every plan.
